Where Is Your Third Kidney?

Now, some of you probably think this is a trick question, but I assure you it is not. The body has five main elimination channels and the kidneys happen to be one of them. The third kidney really isn't a kidney, but it has the ability to rid the body of toxic
waste, up to one pound a day.

Perplexed, or can't guess what organ it is?

It's your skin. That's right, your skin is part of the body's elimination system.

Perspiration...dead skin, they are the result of elimination. You can help yourself get rid of this waste, in less than three minutes a day. You need a long-handled, natural bristle brush to get this done. Before you take your morning shower, you should brush your entire body, with the exception of your face.

At first, you will see something powdery coming off your skin as you brush. These are crystals of uric acid and other dried waste products, that come out in perspiration. Your brushing motion is circular, from the hands and feet toward the heart. You need to use

enough pressure to turn the skin slightly pink.

Always brush when your skin is dry and never expose the brush to water (So don't store it in the bathroom). The bristles may seem a bit stiff at first, but this is because the brush is
new...and your skin is not used to it.

(If you find that the brush is too stiff, you may, just once, hold the bristles under hot water for one minute...no longer. This will soften the bristles just a little.)

Once you start doing this on a regular basis, you'll find you want a really stiff brush and your skin will love you for it.

And remember to get as many green vegetables in your diet as possible. Replacing starches with a green vegetable, or vegetables, is one of the ways I've dropped 55 pounds off my formerly portly frame.
